Anne Bulin
------------------------------------------------ My oldest sister taught me to read when I was five years old, and she basically created a monster. The first romance novel I read from cover to cover (not just the good parts) was The King's Brat by Constance Gluyas when I was 12 years old. I can still remember lying on my stomach on a beach towel for two straight days reading that book. I don't remember much of it now, except a gruesome fight scene in the women's prison, but it made me a lifetime romance fan. Since that fateful summer *mumble* years ago, my life has been filled with hundreds of Harlequins, Candlelight Ecstasies, Westerns, Medievals, Time-Travels and Contemporaries. I love them all, but my true loves are the historicals, probably because I'm a sucker for a good costume. Some of my favorite authors are Susan Wiggs, Pamela Morsi, Dorothy Garlock and pre-1993 LaVyrle Spencer.

Besides books I enjoy playing dress-up at Renaissance Faires, anime and Iron Chef. To make a living, I'm the IT manager for public library (all the free books I can read!) and reading helps me escape the high tech rat race. I live with my husband, two cats and the only person I allow to chew on books, my nine month old son.
